Colouring and drawing

Did you know that working with your hands is good for your brain? Studies and research has shown benefits to cognition and emotions, improvements in attention and also in memory. There is also research to show a reduction in low mood and depression.

Collage

Just like a collage our lives are multi layered. We weave our lives around our environment, work and families. Somtimes we become tired or stuck and it can be difficult to peel some of these complex layers back. We can do this together.

Nurturing a therapeutic relationship

Being creative has no boundaries. Creativity reaches into the therapy room. For me, it is about being mindful of my therapy space, using calm lighting, comfortable surroundings and making my space work for you.

Being creative

There are many ways to work creatively. It really depends on what works for you. Do you like music or crystals. Would you like to draw or paint. Do you have a favourite story or film and a character that you love or admire? We can work therapeutically with these ideas.

Grounding

My image is a tree because nature is important to me. What is important to you? Do you love to be outdoors or is your safe space your home or a blanket? We can work together on how your safe space makes you feel and how it makes you think.
